Although Rocket's profile still has a bit of a break, everything else is just delightful.  Rocket started out as a very clearly marked mackerel tabby, but is definitely more spotted than anything at this point.  His silver is a brilliant white with the black tabbying only on the tips.  The tarnish at the tip of his nose in these pictures (taken at about 8 months old) is gone.  But he's totally blown out his coat due to the hot, humid summer we're having in New England.  His gorgeous ruff is totally gone and we think that may have more to do with BeauBeau chewing on him than the weather.  One way or another, new pictures will have to wait until cool, dry weather sets in and we have our winter coats later on in the fall.  Just know that Rocket has in fact grown to be a nice sized boy and a very handsome one at that.  We're thrilled that he's turned out to be a happy little stud-muffin hanging our with a bunch of our boys in the basement.  He's always been one of the most adoring, people-oriented kittens/cats we've ever had and it's fitting that he has adopted BeauBeau as his favorite bud - what a sweet, playful pair!
