Duman's Luna of Gildethros - Blue-Eyed White Turkish Angora Female

Luna is one of the silliest, sweetest, perpetually playful Turkish Angora cats we own... She has captured the hearts of many with her crazy and comical antics!  Despite her outgoing nature though, she doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body.  Wiggly and willing to outdo even the most outrageous youngsters, she is so refined and limber that I often worry that she might get tied up in a knot like a pretzel!  We fondly call this lovely lady "Lunatic" because she just HAS to put a little extra twist of both body and mind into everything she does... Luna is a fantastic example of the elegance

and grace that distinguishes Turkish Angoras from all other breeds.  Although she had not had a bath in many moons when I took these pictures, I didn't even need to touch her up with a slicker brush to make her look like the lovely creature she is.  Unfortunately, Luna cannot be shown because of a bad break she had to her tail as a baby.  It is rather tender to this day, so I have never given her an official show bath to gussy her up even for picture taking... Most TAs really don't need bathing (or regular grooming) and even the whites keep themselves quite lovely.  Nonetheless, they sure do look great after a nice bathing and a touch up with a slicker brush.  I promise to do Luna justice one of these days!
