We have had so many nick-names for this little beauty. Just watch how she matures in these pictures and you'll understand why - from adorable little imp, to refined beauty to feathered elegance! And throughout it all, that fantastic clear silver (from mackerel tabby to an outstanding spotted tabby now) and overall mesmerizing gaze with those GOREOUS big eyes. But her tail wins out for sure as her signature - a silver plume of feathers that measures at least six inches across and has the most delightful texture and swish. With any luck, I'll get new pictures of her that show the full beauty of that banner before she blows it out due to heats or just plain old heat of summer...

The photos above were all taken on May 27, 2008 when feather was only one month old - too cute! The pictures below were taken on July 16 and 17 at about 2 1/2 months old. Be sure to scroll down for more pictures as our Feather grew up...

The four pictures below were taken at the end of July, just a few weeks after those above. It's amazing how fast kittens mature, not the least of which for this lovely lady is that her "spots" came out quite literally overnight! No "broken mackerel" tabby pattern for Feather..., she's as spotted as a spotted tabby gets!

The two pictures immediately below are from the end of September followed by two more from the beginning of October, two months after those immediately above. Here come the feathers!
