The photos above were taken when he was just barely 8 weeks old.  So please scroll down for some more recent ones.  We've named this speedy, whirl wind of a kitten Chinook.  He even decides that he needs hugs so quickly and so absolutely that he twitches from the tip of his tail to the tip of his tongue as he loudly chirps and bolts his way to the nearest hugger.  He's a total riot with his tail all bushed out like he's just seen a ghost when all he really wants is LOVE.  Absolutely charming and sweet, he's incredibly fast (even for a Turk!) and totally unpredictable.  Sometimes I think that he thinks he's Superman with the stunts he pulls.   But his favorite thing is to go for shoulder rides and he never extends his nails - what a good boy!                             We're showing Chinook as a kitten for the next month or so and then we'll grand him in the CFA.  We hope to get a litter or two from him before retiring him toward the end of the summer.  So we're beginning the hunt to find his retirement home.  And why would we retire him so young...?  Well, I intend to keep his younger brother in his mom's new litter.  And this is one boy who really does just want to be adored.  He's happy enough as a stud and gets along great loose with the rest of our young males.  But he'd really prefer to be one of just a few adored/worshipped fur friends.  He does not spray and we're keeping close tabs on him to see that he doesn't start.  But most of our boys just don't, so no worries there.  He does love to have company.  So please consider taking another kitten if you don't already have a few fur friends to keep him occupied while you're out...                                                                                     The photos below are of Chinook at about 4 1/2 months old.  Continue to scroll down for more recent pictures...

The photos below were taken on May 9th, just a few days after Chinook's first show.  As great as any TA looks after a show bath and grooming, I wish I could do this for everyone!  Not that any TA looks bad if you don't bath them.  But they sure do look super when there aren't any separations (or parts) in the fur on the britches, ruff or tail.
