Gildethros Turkish Angoras
- Adoptions -

Our adoptions page is reserved for older Turkish Angora kittens and any of Our Cats that we plan to retire.  Although we do ship younger kittens at 4 months old, shipping is at best a necessary evil.  This said, older kittens and cats do become more set in their ways and less resilient.  So some of these kitties may not be OK to ship.  But no two cats or kittens are the same, so please feel free to inquire.  All of the Turkish Angoras on this page will be placed neutered or spayed.  These gorgeous felines don't owe us a dime... more than anything we just want to find them fantasitic forever homes.  Please consider adopting one of these fabulous fur friends at no charge with the purchase of a kitten.  Nothing beats an instant buddy!

Naima is one of the most playful, outgoing cats we've ever had.  She totally captures the spirit and temperament of everything that a feisty Turkish Angora should be.  But she would much rather be one of only a few fur friends or even the only family member on four feet.  Yes, she's an alpha female.  But so totally charming and loving and outrageous that she'll be the purrfect companion for that special someone who needs a very special cat.  We hate to part with Naima because she is so beautiful, but the happiness of our cats (and kittens) means more to us than any one cat's "type" ever could.

CH Gildethros Fantasia - Silver Patched Tabby Female
Fantasia is one of the sweetest, most playful cats we've ever had.  But unlike Naima (above), she doesn't have an ounce of alpha in her.  I only say this with a "but" because my adored Tornado (who is our supreme alpha female) decided a few months ago that picking on Fantasia is a great "sport".  The only reason it is a sport is because sweet Fantasia runs for cover the minute she sees that Tornado has set her seights on her, and this only entertains Tornado all the more.  And as diligently as I've worked at convincing Tornado that she MUST leave Fantasia alone, our other girls have started to pick on Fantasia too.  No fun for poor Fantasia to say the least.  Not to worry though as we have this lovely lady happily cavorting with one of our groups of males.  She really is one of the sweetest, most playful cats you could ever hope for.  Fantasia is totally toy addicted, loves people and attention, and really does get along great with other cats.  She would be a fabulous addition for any family/living situation.

As much as I hate to ever think of a day without Scurio's cheerful chirup hello, I hate to keep whole males whole too long.  It really is best to retire them when they are still young at heart and flexible enough to take on a new identity.  And Chiaroscuro has sired so many great litters for us that he's behind many of our cats at this point and just doesn't get used much as a stud anymore.  We're waiting with high hopes on his litter with Spree.  And then maybe one more breeding with Luna and it's his time to relax, romp through the house and get to be an adored pet.  I'll want to keep him here for awhile to be sure to get some super lap time with him and know that he'll be OK elsewhere.  But if you're at all interested in adopting this adored fur friend of ours, please let us know.  It always makes retiring our cats much easier if we know they have a loving home already waiting...
