The photos left and above were taken at about 5 weeks old and those below at 7 weeks.  This handsome boy is still just as wide eyed and saucy, and cuddly and naughty as ever.  He's the one who is fast asleep below.  No doubt he is as active and fun as he is (when awake) because he has that rare and rather non-feline ability to fall into a very deep sleep.  If only I could sleep like that!
The three photos directly above were taken at two months old and those below at 12 weeks.
This boy is so lovely that he honestly doesn't look like a boy.  But for a breed that really is supposed to be refined and elegant and fairy-like, pretty boys are in fact great!  He started out as an absolutely crystal clear silver and then developed just a hint of tarnish at the tip of his nose, nothing on his paws or anywhere else.  And that nose is now clearing back up again.  He only ever developed just a hint of tarnish at the tip on the bridge of his nose which seems to be very common for our silvers.  So knowing that he did only develop so little means that he really will be as bright and clear as Merlin and the other great silvers we've had - just take a look at Merlin's baby pictures to see that he had at least this much tarnish at this age.  And what a gorgeous silver he matured to become!  At any rate, we're honestly in no hurry to part with this boy as we would love to breed with him for a litter or two.  But we already have too many whole males and this lovely boy does deserve to be adored as a pet.  He is super snuggly and would love to have a very special person to call his very own.  For anyone who might be hankering after a pair of TAs, this boy would be a purrfect pairing with his silver brother.  They adore one another and still look so much alike that it's hard to tell who is who unless they are side-by-side.  This boy has slightly better overall show type, but they are both GORGEOUS!  I'm avoiding using this boy's nick-name because it's as girly as his looks are - Genie.  He is forever trying to crawl into the tops of jugs where the opening is about the size of a quarter.  We have several gallon bottles rolling around the house to store water in and we've had to abandon ship and leave them empty since he really does think the only thing that belongs in them is him!  I used to think he was just plain dingy, but I've decided that he really does think he'll figure it out one day!  And knowing how determined TAs are, well... He loves to stuff his head (and front paws) into cups and go plowing across the floor by kicking with his back feet.  Maybe he has another bizarre game in mind for the gallon jugs that he just hasn't managed to pull off yet.  We'll let you know of all future developments!
